Openwide International are currently in year 6 of a 12 year contract to manage the pier and the pavilion theatre on behalf of North Norfolk District Council.

Cromer Pier & Pavilion Theatre
We were initially commissioned for one year in 2000 to assist North Norfolk District Council in resolving a number of management and creative issues and securing a future for the piers summer season theatre offering.
Following a second successful single year contract we were subsequently awarded a full ten year term.
In partnership with North Norfolk District Council we have redeveloped the theatre with a new balcony and an additional 50 seats, added a new bar to the front of the theatre and developed a new restaurant and retail out let on the grade 2 listed pier.
Services:
We produce and stage the UK’s leading summer season show, Seaside Special, playing to over 90% capacity and 48,000 people
per year. We have extended a seasonal theatre to a year round
offering and introduce the first Christmas Seaside Special in 2005, playing to over 14,000 in just three weeks. We have reduced the annual subsidy from £221,000 in 2000 to £82,000 in 2006.
